Our community elected Wendi as State Representative in 2018. Since then, she has kept her word to be a responsible and effective leader both in Harrisburg and here at home. Quickly becoming known as a pragmatic legislator able to work with colleagues from both parties, Wendi has already had legislation she authored passed into law and has been involved in crafting important initiatives to help all Pennsylvanians.
Of course, working to help our families is nothing new to Wendi. Years ago she began serving our community as a volunteer in local parent-teacher organizations which led to her being named to the Council Rock School Board and then re-elected three times. While on the school board, she helped make Council Rock one of the best and safest school districts in the state while still respecting taxpayers.
Wendi also had a long and successful career in the professional world before becoming our State Representative. With a career focused on healthcare issues, Wendi worked for a small start-up company that ultimately grew into a national firm and rose to be its Senior Vice President.
Wendi and her husband, John - known as J.T. - have been married for 30 years, having met in their senior year at Gettysburg College. They have lived in Northampton Township for 26 years and are the parents of three children: John, III, Justin and Stephanie, all graduates of Council Rock High School.
